Public Scoping Meeting Notice

To discuss the program Environmental Impact Report and Notice of Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report
A public scoping meeting to discuss the proposed Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley Medical Center Master Plan Project will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 14177 Frederick Street, from 6 to 7 p.m. At the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the potential environmental impacts to be studies for the proposed project.

During the public review period for the Notice of Preparation, public agencies, interested organizations, and individuals have the opportunity to comment on the proposed project and provide comments and suggestions on the scope and content of the environmental issues that should be studies further by the City of Moreno Valley in the Draft Environmental Impact Report. The public review period on the Notice of Preparation is November 29, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (also known as Kaiser Permanente) is proposing to expand the existing Kaiser Permanente Moreno Valley Medical Center campus. The proposed project would be a multi-phased, state-of-the-art medical center campus, which would include the following at ultimate project buildout: approximately 460-bed hospital, hospital support buildings, outpatient medical office buildings, an energy center, and surface and structured parking.
The project site is located on the north side of Iris Avenue, west of Oliver, and east of Nason Street at 27300 Iris Avenue, Assessor Parcel Numbers, 486-310-033 and 486-3130034.
