Celebrate the Holidays at the City of Moreno Valley's Snow Day and Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 8

Snow Day

The City of Moreno Valley invites you to a fun-filled day of holiday cheer at the annual Snow Day and Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 8.

Snow Day

Children ages 12 and under can celebrate the beginning of the holiday season by playing in the snow - in Moreno Valley!

The Little Elves Tot Lot is for children ages 5 and younger, and Santa’s Snow Sled Runs is for children ages 6 through 12. There is a fee of $6 to participate in either snow area. Time slots for snow play are 45 minutes, with sessions starting at the beginning of each hour from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.

Snow Day also includes live entertainment, bounce houses, Santa’s Village, face painting, crafts, games and more! Local food vendors will offer a variety of delicious food options.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Moreno Valley Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez and the City Council will host the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring holiday-themed performances from Moreno Valley children along with a special visit from Santa. The ceremony culminates with the lighting of the City’s festive 30-foot holiday tree. After the tree lighting, Santa will be available for pictures.

Free hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
