Moreno Valley Youth Conference Offers Teens Free Job Preparation Training

The Moreno Valley Youth Conference is the perfect opportunity for Moreno Valley teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 to learn from the experts how to land their first job – and keep it!

Learn what it takes to get hired, participate in mock interviews, and enter to win raffle prizes.

Conference speakers include:

  • Kim S. Scott, local author, speaker, entrepreneur and founder of My Girls, a program dedicated to the positive development of girls and young women will provide a glimpse into what their futures hold.
  • Miguel Ramirez, City of Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center Manager and workforce development expert, will teach attendees how to submit winning employment applications and resumés, and gain successful interviewing skills.
  • Claudia Diaz Carrasco, 4-H Youth Development Advisor at the University of California Cooperative Extension, will focus on what it takes to achieve excellence on the job and in school by highlighting workplace etiquette and other skills.

This event is being offered by the City of Moreno Valley Emerging Leaders Council.
