Mayor Gutierrez Appointed to the Renu Hope Foundation Board of Directors

Renu Hope

Non-profit group serves local at risk, needy and low income families

For immediate release: July 7, 2017

Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez is proud to announce his appointment to the Board of Directors of the Renu Hope Foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to uplifting our working families and providing much needed education and support services to guide them on their path to success.

The Renu Hope Foundation provides childcare and education services to at risk, low income and needy families in Moreno Valley and in communities across Riverside County.

Through nearly a dozen Centers for Learning Excellence, the Renu Hope Foundation provides children with a happy, healthy and safe environment in which to learn while helping parents improve their parenting skills. The centers also provide valuable vocational and life skills development training as well as housing and other assistance to low-income and needy families.

“As a teacher, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation for our children – both at home and in education. The Renu Foundation provides an invaluable service to working families in need of a helping hand to lift them up and help them succeed as students, as parents, and as people,” said Mayor Gutierrez. “I am humbled and honored to be named to the Renu Hope Foundation’s Board of Directors and help further this important mission.”
