Moreno Valley Logistics Center Final Environmental Impact Report Available

For immediate release: June 13, 2017

FEIR

The Final Environmental Impact Report (PEN16-0002) for the proposed Moreno Valley Logistics Center is complete and available for public review on the City's website and in person at City Hall or the Moreno Valley Public Library.

The project site is located in the southern portion of the City, south of Krameria Avenue, north of Cardinal Avenue, east of Heacock Street and the March Air Reserve Base, and west of Indian Street.

The project includes:

  1. A Specific Plan Amendment (PEN16-0001) to modify land use buffering and landscape

  2. A Tentative Parcel Map 36150 (PEN16-0008) to consolidate 73.4-acre from three parcels into two parcels, identify public road improvements, and to identify the size and location of proposed utility infrastructure improvements 

  3. Four Plot Plans (PEN16-0003-PEN16-0006) for the construction and operation of a warehouse distribution center with four buildings with a combined 1,737,518 square feet of total floor space. Improvements to the property include loading docks, surface parking areas, including automobile parking and truck trailer parking, drive aisles, roadway improvements, utility infrastructure, landscaping, exterior lighting, and water quality detention basins.

The Final EIR contains responses to comments that received during the public review period and any necessary modifications to the text of the Draft EIR.

The Final EIR is available online at the City's website. Hard copies of the document can also be reviewed during normal business hours at the Planning Division counter at City Hall, located at 14177 Frederick Street or at the Moreno Valley Library, located at 25480 Alessandro Boulevard.
