GIS-based Map Helps Families Locate Banners
Military banners of Moreno Valley families and friends can be located online. The City's new GIS-based banner mapping tool is another way for the City to honor members of the military and their families. The new online map can be found at https://mapservices.moval.org/banners.
Moreno Valley is proud of its military heritage and those serving our country. In support of local hometown military personnel and their families, the City installs Military Appreciation Banners along major thoroughfares. While the military banners recognize the men and women who are currently serving in the United States armed services, the program promotes patriotism and civic pride in our community.
The Military Appreciation Banner program is partially sponsored by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce's Military Affairs Committee.
