“Freedom Days” Pet Adoption Event features Discounted Pet Adoptions

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter hold its Annual “Freedom Days” Pet Adoption promotion from Wednesday, July 13 to Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Shelter. Featuring discounted adoption rates, this special event will run from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, then on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is a great place to find your next family pet,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez. “Many of our homeless dogs at the shelter deserve a second chance at finding their new lifelong loving home.”

The event will include a “Mayor’s Special” program to sponsor the adoption of the first 20 dogs during the Freedom Days adoption event.

Dogs and puppies will be available for $50 while cats and kittens will be available for $15. Cats and kittens will be reduced even further to only $5 on Friday, July 15, 2016 during “Five Dollar Fridays” every Friday in July. Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, and a HomeAgain microchip.

Adoption Gift Certificates are also available at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, located at 14041 Elsworth Street.
