Chooses Moreno Valley
The City of Moreno Valley is excited to welcome Wiseway Transportation Services to the City’s thriving business community. Wiseway has selected a site in the Moreno Valley South Industrial corridor located in the southern section of town near Amazon, Harbor Freight Tools, Harmon Kardon, Phillips Electronics, Procter and Gamble, and the March Inland Port Airport.
“With the addition of Wiseway Transportation Services, the City of Moreno Valley is fast-becoming the go-to-city for our nation’s best logistics and e-commerce companies. The City is proud to welcome Wiseway Transportation Services and congratulates them on selecting the best location to do business in Southern California,” said Mayor Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez.
Headquartered in Hudson, Wisconsin, Wiseway Transportation Services is a premier provider of transportation and distribution services for the furniture industry and is expanding its warehousing and distribution operations in one of the largest furniture markets in the United States with business set to start May 16.
“Our goal is to build on what we feel are needed services on the West Coast and to position ourselves to adapt to the growing e-commerce business,” said Jeff Wines, President of Wiseway Transportation Services, according to Furnituretoday.com.
Wiseway Transportation Services will occupy the 187,800 square foot First San Michele Logistics building located at 24901 San Michele Road. The state-of-the- art building was developed by First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., a leading owner and operator of industrial real estate and supply chain solutions provider to companies in the Inland Empire and throughout North America.
“The City of Moreno Valley was a valued partner in attracting Wiseway Transportation Services to the community and to our First San Michele Logistics Center as the new home for servicing the distribution and warehousing needs of its e-commerce furniture customers,” said Larry Cochrun, Director of Development for First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. “The City of Moreno Valley, with strong leadership from its Mayor, City Council, and active engagement of staff at all levels, understands, appreciates, and supports the role businesses play as part of the greater community, including providing job opportunities for area residents. We are a proud investor, developer, and owner of several properties in Moreno Valley, and look forward to our next one,” added Cochrun.
Wiseway Transportation Services joins a host of Fortune 500 and international companies such as Aldi Foods, Deckers Outdoors (makers of UGG Boots), Fisher & Paykel, Karma Automotive, and e-commerce giant, Amazon, who recently moved to Moreno Valley.
