City Launches Spending Transparency Website

What are the City’s costs for public safety services this year, and how do they compare to last year’s expenditures?

How much did the City pay to specific vendors last year?

How much has the Moreno Valley Utility spent to purchase power this year?

The answers to these questions and many others can now be found online as the City rolls out an interactive tool that allows the public to explore detailed financial data online.  This newest phase in the City’s ongoing commitment to transparency provides unprecedented insight into the City’s expenditures by graphing expenditure trends, highlighting vendor information, providing invoice amounts with payment dates and much more.

This spending transparency website provides detailed accounts payable transactions from July 1, 2012 through the most recently closed and unaudited financial period.
