Council Member Jempson Set to
Speak on Human Trafficking

The National Alliance of Free Women, Inc. is holding an event this weekend which is designed to help women identify and celebrate their value. LaDonna Jempson, City Council Member and Board Member for the National Alliance of Free Women, will participate as a panel speaker discussing the issue of human trafficking.

“It is an honor to be part of an organization that works to improve the quality and life of women and girls” says Council Member Jempson, who says she’s among good company. Also participating on the panel is:

  • Mayor Pro Tem Tonya Burke, City of Perris;
  • Cecilia Bolbolian, President of the National Latina Business Women’s Association;
  • Dr. Faiza Shereen, Professor of English at California State University, Pomona;
  • Tracy Allen, Owner, Blessed Hands Beauty Salon; and
  • Deniece Marshall, Program Director for Lutheran Social Services of Southern California.

The event is Saturday, August 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street.
