World Logistics Center Project City Council Hearing
Rescheduled to August 17, 2015

The Moreno Valley City Council Public Hearing on the proposed World Logistics Center project has been rescheduled to August 17, 2015 at 5 p.m. in the Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick St.

The Planning Commission, serving as an advisory body to the City Council on the project, completed its review of the proposed project on June 30. The Planning Commission’s Hearing extended over three separate dates and was well attended each night, with approximately 450 people in attendance on the first night. Similar public interest is expected for the City Council’s consideration of this significant project involving over 3,800 acres in the eastern portion of the City. The City Council’s Hearing will include presentations from City staff and the developer, and will subsequently be opened for public comments.

As with all proposed projects, the City remains committed to ensuring that interested community members have ample notice of public meetings. Rescheduling this Hearing will also allow proceedings to take place in a single facility which can accommodate the level of attendance anticipated for this significant project.

The agenda and related documents will be made available on the City's website (www.moval.org). For more information about the proposed World Logistics Center project, please contact the City of Moreno Valley Planning Division at 951.413.3206.

Upon request, this agenda will be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with disabilities, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Any person with a disability who requires a modification or accommodation in order to participate in a meeting should direct such request to Guy Pegan, ADA Coordinator, at 951.413.3120 at least 48 hours before the meeting. The 48-hour notification will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to this meeting. .
