Draft Environmental Impact Report for
Proposed South Moreno Valley Walmart Project
Available for Public Review & Comment

Moreno Valley, CA- The Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the proposed South Moreno Valley Walmart is complete and available for public review and comment. The public review period of the DEIR for this project begins on April 20, 2015 and ends on June 4, 2015.

The proposed project would develop a second Walmart in Moreno Valley. The proposed retail store would consist of a total of 185,761 square feet and a commercial outparcel. The specific use of the associated outparcel has not yet been finalized and will ultimately be determined by market demand. Alternatives include a gas station, convenience store, car wash, square-foot fast food restaurant with drive through service, as well as 3,200 square feet of retail uses.

During the public review period, public agencies, interested organizations, and individuals have the opportunity to provide comments, which should be submitted to: Richard J. Sandzimier, Planning Official, City of Moreno Valley, 14177 Frederick Street, P.O. Box 88005, Moreno Valley, CA 92552-0805 by no later than 5:30 p.m. on June 4, 2015.
