Helping to Stuff the Bus
The Moreno Valley Police Department - Community Services Unit is helping to “Stuff the Bus” again this year to assist with much needed resources for Operation SafeHouse. Donations in Moreno Valley are being collected at the Moreno Valley Police Department, located at 22850 San Juan de Los Lagos. Donations will be gratefully accepted Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through November 5, 2014.
The Police Department is encouraging Moreno Valley businesses and residents to participate by providing donations to support this worthy organization. Items requested include monetary or material donations such as household cleaners, personal hygiene articles, school supplies, non-perishable foods, pillows and blankets. A detailed list of needed items is listed on the Police Department’s webpage at www.moval.org.
This outreach program brightens the lives of children in our community who may be facing dark situations. Operation Safehouse is successful due to the continuous support of compassionate Moreno Valley businesses and citizens.
