New Sports Park to Open, Residents Invited to Dedication
The City of Moreno Valley will celebrate the first new park opening in four years. The City’s Parks & Community Services Department is proudly hosting a grand opening dedication for Lasselle Sports Park on Saturday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. Located at 17155 Lasselle Street, the new 12 ¾ acre sports park features:
- Three football fields
- Modern concession stand
- Ample restrooms and parking lot
- Large play apparatus
- Picnic shelters
- Beautiful walkways and a walking track
- Security lighting
- Scoreboards
- Water-wise landscaping.
Moreno Valley residents are encouraged to come out and celebrate with us. The dedication event includes refreshments, a marching band performance, local youth football games, and a formal ribbon cutting.
