YouthFest Brings Community Resources Together

The Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department is excited to host YouthFest 2014 on Saturday, September 13th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Community Park located at 13380 Frederick Street. This annual event is free to the public and showcases youth-oriented businesses and services in the area. This is a great time for families to come out to the park and see what the community offers Moreno Valley’s youth.

The public is encouraged to come out and learn more about community resources by visiting information booths, while having a great time with various food vendors, entertainment, opportunity drawings, and various activities for children. YouthFest also includes a K-9 demonstration, public safety vehicle displays, face painting, a balloon artist, and representatives from local youth sports organizations. Join us for this family-oriented event and see which activities pique your child’s interest!

Applications for information booths are now being accepted. Visit our website at www.moval.org to download an application and to get general event information. The application deadline is September 5. Applications can be submitted to the Conference and Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick Street.
