Visterra Credit Union Hosts City Pet Adoption Event

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is thrilled to hold a pet adoption promotion event at Visterra Credit Union. The event is Friday, August 1, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 23540 Cactus Ave. The purpose of this shelter pet promotion event is to help homeless companion animals find life-long loving homes.

Special discounted adoption rates apply during this special event. Dogs and puppies are available for $50.00 while cats and kittens are available for $25.00. These adoption prices include spay or neuter surgery, 5 in 1, bordetella and rabies vaccinations, along with a HomeAgain microchip. Pets adopted on Friday, August 1, which are not altered, will be available for going home the following Monday afternoon after being spayed or neutered.

“This pet promotion event gives families an opportunity to enrich their lives by giving a homeless pet a forever home,” said Steve Fries, Animal Services Division Manager. “Visterra Credit Union has been a longtime supporter of the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and during our second year of participation in the 2014 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge their ongoing support will help many homeless pets find their forever homes.”
