Programs Manager
City Manager Michelle Dawson has appointed Julie Reyes as Moreno Valley’s Sustainability & Intergovernmental Programs Manager. In this position, Ms. Reyes will manage sustainability, recycling, and solid waste programs. In addition, she will serve as the staff liaison for intergovernmental relations and legislative issues on local, state and federal levels.
Ms. Reyes began her new assignment on June 9th, following 26 years with Waste Management, Inc. where her duties included program management, public-private partnerships, and government relations throughout western Riverside County. Having served in a series of community service capacities in Moreno Valley since 1998, she served on the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce board for 6 years, has been a member of the Morning Optimist Club of Moreno Valley for 16 years, and has been a Board Member for the Riverside County Regional Medical Center Foundation since 2006.
“The community will be well-served by Julie’s work as a member of the City Team,” said City Manager Dawson. “We look forward to working with her to enhance partnerships with neighboring agencies as well as state and regional bodies serving western Riverside County.”
