Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
The City of Moreno Valley, in association with the Riverside County Waste Management Department, is holding a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event on May 9 & 10, 2014 at the City Yard located at 15670 Perris Blvd from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. each day.
A significant amount of waste is accepted at these events including, but not limited to:
- Sharps (syringes)
- Used oil and used oil filters
- Batteries
- Fluorescent tubes
- Electronics
- Paint
Residents are allowed multiple trips. The weight limit for waste material is 125 pounds or 15 gallons per trip. Individual containers should be no more than five gallons or weigh more than 50 pounds. For more information contact the Recycling Program at 951.413.3109.
