Moreno Valley Announces Spring Activities for Youth
This April, the Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department has an exciting month full of springtime fun planned for Moreno Valley’s youth.
Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 12, the community Easter Egg Hunt will be held for local youth from 2 to 12 years of age at Sunnymead Park, located at 12655 Perris Blvd. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Age divided egg hunts and a physically challenged field will be full of thousands of hidden candy and prize-filled eggs. This event is free for Moreno Valley residents.
Bunny Brunch
Also on Saturday, April 12, Bunny Brunch will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Senior Community Center, located at 25075 Fir Ave. For a resident fee of $8.00, youth from 2 to 12 years of age will enjoy a morning of games, crafts, a special breakfast prepared just for them, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Chef’s Workshop
The Easter Chef’s Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the TownGate Community Center, located at 13100 Arbor Park Lane. For a resident fee of $8.00, children from 4 to 12 years of age will make delicious holiday goodies to take home and enjoy.
Craft Day
The final seasonal activity provided by the Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services Department is Hop Down the Craft Trail to be held on Thursday, April 17, at the TownGate Community Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children from 4 to 12 years of age will make several creative spring crafts. There is an $8.00 resident fee, for the workshop.
Pre-registration is recommended for the following activities: Bunny Brunch, Hop Down the Craft Trail, and the Spring Easter Chef’s Workshop. A multiple activity discount is available for all the spring events for only $22.
