Earth Day Collage Contest

The City of Moreno Valley’s Environmental and Historical Preservation Board, the Arts Commission and the Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful Program are co-sponsoring an Earth Day collage contest for all Moreno Valley 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.  The theme for the contest is the Four R’s (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce, and Repurpose).  The collage could include text or image clippings from newspapers, magazines, or other sources that represent the theme.

The contest will begin on February 18 and end on March 21, 2014.  Winners will be announced and awards presented at a Special Presentation before the regular City Council Meeting on April 22, 2014.

Collages should be submitted to participating teachers at any time prior to March 21, 2014 or students may contact the City of Moreno Valley to make other arrangements for submitting a collage.

The Environmental and Historical Preservation Board is an advisory board to the City Council that meets to consider matters related to the environmental as well as matters pertaining to the preservation of the City's heritage and culture.  The Board meets on the second Monday of each odd-numbered month at 7 p.m. in the Moreno Valley City Hall Council Chamber located at 14177 Frederick Street.
