Betsy Adams Serves as Interim Parks &
Community Services Director
Former Assistant City Manager, Betsy Adams will serve the City of Moreno Valley once again. Ms. Adams began her new stint today serving as the Interim Director for the Parks & Community Services Department while the recruitment for the permanent Director is underway.
Ms. Adams came to Moreno Valley in 1990 and served in several capacities including the Purchasing Manager, Administrative Services Director, and Assistant City Manager. She left Moreno Valley in 2010 to become the City Manager in Grand Terrace, a position from which she very recently retired. “We are fortunate,” says Michelle Dawson, City Manager, “that Betsy is willing to assist in this interim capacity and look forward to working with her and taking full advantage of her considerable expertise in the months ahead.”
