Moreno Valley Commits to Cooperation and Transparency
The City of Moreno Valley received a series of federal grand jury subpoenas this past Tuesday, October 22, 2013 and several staff members are working diligently to respond. The subpoenas seek information related to various City departments and operations. The City is also exploring how we may share investigation-related information with the public on a continuing basis, with the goal being to promote transparency while preserving the integrity of the legal process.
At this time, the City is developing a webpage on the City’s website to provide links to the investigation-related public information that the City will be allowed to share. Updates regarding availability of related information and documents will be provided as frequently as possible. The City anticipates announcing the release of the webpage shortly.
