Mayor will Deliver the State of the City Address
Moreno Valley residents and business leaders are invited to attend the annual State of the City event.

Hosted by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Moreno Valley, this annual event features Moreno Valley Mayor Tom Owings, who will deliver the State of the City address. Mayor Owings will showcase the City’s efforts to:
- Balance the budget without use of reserves.
- Stimulate Moreno Valley’s economy.
- Challenge the status quo in animal shelter adoptions, community participation, and graduation rates / student performance.
- Enhance City Hall’s professional leadership while maintaining the continuity of government services to Moreno Valley residents and businesses.
The cost to attend the event is $30 per person for members of the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce or $45 for non-members (after August 8, ticket prices increase to $45 for members and $55 for non-members). Reservations are required as this event sells out every year. The City will make the Alessandro Room at the Conference & Recreation Center available for viewing the speech at no charge to the public should an individual be unable to obtain a reservation.
