Moreno Valley Seeks July 4th Celebration Parade Entrants and Sponsors

The City of Moreno Valley’s July 4th celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2013. The Independence Day Celebration will kick off with a hometown parade from 9:30 a.m. to noon.  The parade theme this year is "A Tribute to Stars and Stripes.”  The parade route will begin at Alessandro Boulevard, head north on Frederick Street, go west on TownGate Boulevard and end at the TownGate Plaza at approximately 12:00 noon.

Kids in ParadeThe Moreno Valley Independence Day Parade ignites patriotism as groups walk together in celebration of the history of the United States of America. Members of our community, businesses, churches, non-profit organizations, athletic groups, and school districts, as well any other organizations, are encouraged to join the fun as a parade entrant. Organizations are invited to enter a float or to otherwise sponsor a parade entry.

The deadline to register is Thursday, June 20, 2013.  No parade entries will be taken after that date.  Parade entry forms are currently available at Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick Street or at www.moval.org.
