Moreno Valley seeks vendors for Independence Day Festival Moreno Valley’s Parks and Community Services Department is currently making available vendor applications for its Family Fun Fest Celebration. Vendors will be selected by a lottery drawing at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street on the following dates:

Moreno Valley Residents – Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.
Non-residents – Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.

The City of Moreno Valley’s July 4th Celebration will be held on July 4, 2013. The Independence Celebration will kick off with a parade from 9:30 a.m. – noon. The parade theme this year is "A Tribute to Stars and Stripes". The celebration will continue from 2 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. with the Family Fun Fest activities at Mountain View Middle School/Morrison Park. Highlights of the festival include a “Battle of the Bands” on the Community Stage followed by local talent performances. The concert headliner this year on the main stage is “Mrs. Jones Revenge”, “Ghost in the Machine, and “Hollywood Stones”. The festival concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m., which is simulcast on radio station KOLA 99.9 FM. This promises to be the best July 4th show ever!
