to Hold “Earth Day” Pet Adoption Event
Special Adoption Rate Discounts will apply!

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter has partnered with local business leaders to hold the Animal Shelter’s First Annual “Earth Day” pet adoption promotion on Monday, April 22nd. The event will be held at Bud’s Moreno Valley Tire Pros located at 22510 Alessandro Blvd., right on the corner of Alessandro Blvd. and Elsworth St.

The pet promotion will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bud’s Moreno Valley Tire Pros as well as at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. The purpose of this Shelter pet promotion event is to help homeless companion animals find life-long loving homes.

Special discounted adoption rates apply during this daylong event. Dogs and puppies will be available for $50, while cats and kittens will be available for $25. These adoption prices include spay or neuter surgery, 5-in-1, bordetella and rabies vaccinations, along with a HomeAgain microchip. In addition, all dogs and cats adopted will receive a new collar and ID tag made available by a grant from the ASPCA.

In addition to the special discounted adoption rates, Bud’s Moreno Valley Tire Pros will offer a FREE vehicle oil change, tire rotation, 21-point safety inspection and top-off of all fluids to everyone who adopts an animal.

Pets adopted on April 22nd that have not already been altered will be available to go home the following afternoon after being spayed or neutered.

“Bud’s Moreno Valley Tire Pros partnering with the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is a great example of a public-private partnership that benefits local business, the community and our pets from the Animal Shelter,” said Steve Fries, Moreno Valley’s Animal Services Division Manager. “This is a win-win for everyone, especially our Shelter pets who offer unconditional love and companionship for many years.”
