Salvation Army has Urgent Need for ToysThe Salvation Army Moreno Valley Corps is in desperate need of 500 new & unwrapped toys to give to needy yet deserving children in Moreno Valley, Perris, Banning, and Beaumont. The Salvation Army’s annual toy drive ended yesterday and the toy count is about 500 short of its 1100 target. Annually, The Salvation Army provides Christmas Food & Toy Assistance to families who are struggling economically. Last year, The Salvation Army assisted 330 families through this program. This year the program has committed to helping 547 families- nearly a 66% percent increase. Individuals, families and groups still have an opportunity to give. New and unwrapped toys are can be dropped at the following locations until Friday:
