Moreno Valley Hosts Foreclosure Prevention SeminarThe City of Moreno Valley is hosting a free foreclosure prevention seminar. This event is offered in partnership with Housing Opportunities Collaborative of the Inland Empire (HOCIE) to help residents in Moreno Valley and in surrounding areas, reduce their risk of home foreclosure. The event will be held on May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center located at 14075 Frederick Street. Presenters include representatives from HOCIE, HomeStrong USA, Fannie Mae, Homeownership Education Learning Program (HELP), Riverside County District Attorney's Office, and Springboard. Speakers will provide information and resources to help residents evaluate their specific situations to avoid foreclosure. Attendees for this seminar may speak directly to housing counselors and lenders. Limited Spanish translation will be available. Seminar topics include:
Several mortgage lenders and/ or servicers will be on-site to meet one-on-one with homeowners, including Chase Bank, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, GMAC Mortgage, HSBC, PNC Mortgage and Wells Fargo Mortgage.
