City Holds Auditions for the
2012 Moreno Valley Idol

In a quest to find aspiring solo singers in and around Moreno Valley, the City's Parks & Community Services Department has scheduled auditions for participants to be showcased at the 4th of July Family Fun Fest celebration.

The 2012 "Moreno Valley Idol" competition will consist of two rounds of auditions. The vocalists awarded the title of "Moreno Valley Idol" in each of the four age categories will receive grand prizes.

Registration for the competition is $5.00. Contestants are not required to be Moreno Valley residents. Vocalists will compete in one of the following age categories:

 7 years – 15 years  26 years – 40 years
 16 years – 25 years  41 years & older

Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center - 14075 Frederick Street

1st Round: Note:
The first round is Open To All. Format is a capella. May 6: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. or
May 7: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

2nd Round: Invitation Only.
Advancing contestants will be invited back for the 2nd Round of Auditions. Format includes music, but no instruments. June 10: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. OR June 11: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
