E-Books Now Available at the Moreno Valley Public LibraryThe City of Moreno Valley announces a new service available at the Moreno Valley Public Library: E-books! Electronic books are now available to Moreno Valley Public Library cardholders, through the Library's website! Once they've downloaded the Blio software, residents can use their library cards to check out e-books for up to two weeks through the Axis 360 service. The e-books will run on iOS, Android and Windows tablets and smartphones (including iPads and iPhones), PCs, Kindle Fires, and will soon work on other e-readers such as Nook and Sony as well. Clicking on the Axis 360 E-books icon on the Library's website links readers to the Magic Wall, which displays titles for all ages, from color picture books for children to books for teens to fiction and nonfiction for adults. People can browse by subject, see book reviews, and consider recommendations for further reading. This new service is made possible through the generous support of the Moreno Valley Friends of the Library. The Library is located at 25480 Alessandro Blvd. and is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, visit the Library's web site athttp://library.booksite.com/7252/ or call 951.413.3880. |
