Earth Day Essay Contest

The City of Moreno Valley's Environmental and Historical Preservation Board is sponsoring an Earth Day essay contest for all Moreno Valley high school students. Students are encouraged to write an essay on what Earth Day means to them, what they are doing at home to honor Earth Day, and what the City can do to better take care of the earth. The essay contest will begin on April 2 and end on May 10. Winners will be announced at a Special Presentation before the regular City Council Meeting on May 22, 2012.

Essays can be no longer than 500 words in length and must be submitted at any time from April through May 10, 2012 to PlanningEmail@moval.org or mailed to:

Essays may also be submitted in person to the Planning Division at City Hall, 14177 Frederick Street, Moreno Valley.
