Writers Launch Pad

Moreno Valley Parks & Community Services and the Moreno Valley Arts Commission will host "The Writers Launch Pad" on March 17, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at the March Field Air Museum Theater located at 22550 Van Buren Boulevard. This is a free workshop that will focus on helping writers bring their work to market and launching their careers.

Presenters include thriller writer Graham Brown, author of Black Sun and Black Rain, speaking on how he took his career from being an unknown author to signing a multi-book contract.

Also appearing, authors that went from blog to book, taking an idea to the web, and then to publication. Authors Natasha Burton, Julie Fishman and Meagan McCrary will share their success and know-how at the writers launch pad.

Preregistration is recommended, but not required to attend "The Writers Launch Pad". Please email Eric von Mizener, Arts Commissioner, at launchpad@ericvonmizener.com to register for this informative workshop. The deadline for registration is Thursday, March 15, at 5:00 p.m.
