Special Spring Activities for Youth

The Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department will host several special spring activities in March and April 2012. On Saturday, March 31, the complementary Easter Egg Huntwill be held for local children ages 2 to 12 years of age at Sunnymead Park located at 12655 Perris Blvd. at 9:00 a.m. sharp. Designated age and physically challenged fields will be full of thousands of hidden candy and prize-filled eggs.

Also on Saturday, March 31, a Bunny Brunch will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Senior Community Center located at 25075 Fir Ave. For a residential fee of $6.00, children ages 3 to 12 years of age will enjoy a morning of games, crafts, a special breakfast prepared just for them, and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The Easter Chef's Workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the TownGate Community Center. For a residential fee of $9.00, children ages 4 to 12 years will make delicious holiday goodies to take home and enjoy.

The final seasonal activity provided by the Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department is the Hop Down the Craft Trail to be held on Thursday, April 5, at the TownGate Community Center located at 13100 Arbor Park Lane from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Children 4 to 12 years of age will make several creative spring crafts. There is a $9.00 residential fee for the workshop.

Pre-registration is recommended for activities Bunny Brunch, Hop Down the Craft Trail, and the Spring Easter Chef's Workshop. Multi-family and multiple activity discounts are available for selected spring events.
